A lot of things. This a millennia old practice that has confused many people. They shouldn’t be blamed because there isn’t a lit of literature to reveal the nitty-gritty of this noble practice. It’s diversity depending on where the practitioner lives also contributes to the misunderstanding of it. Yet, overall, it is universal I’m general practice. The following are some of the stuff people don’t understand about this.
Witchcraft is mostly a hereditary practice and not just acquired along the way. Here, we’re born witches. The supernatural anoints us early and the older generation just nurture our inborn ability.
We don’t worship the devil. Never at all. We’re doing this because it is also a noble calling. Some of us are actually actively religious. I am a nondenominational Christian for that matter who goes to church so regularly.
We’re not all Wiccan. Wiccan in fact came much later whereas witchcraft has been around since time immemorial.
You can be religious and still practice or seek witchcraft services. It doesn’t violate any established religious laws or practices in any shape or form.
It is not comic but real. Once one assumes the role of a witch, automatically supernatural powers are invited. They can cause a lot of consequences. Due care is advised.
As witches/wizards, we’re not the final authority; we work with and for/on behalf of superior or supernatural forces. They see what we can’t see or do humanly. They influence people’s emotions, circumstances and situations through witchcraft practice.
Witchcraft is practice in designated or gazette places known as shrines or temples or spiritual houses. It is not done anywhere or everywhere. Spiritual power congregate and confluence at these special places to make people’s wishes a reality.
Witchcraft works with tools, materials and ingredients and not only mere words or incantations. These are usually herbal plants and animal parts that make the witchcraft rituals powerful. Supernatural powers guide on what to use, how, when and where.
It doesn’t have to be black or white magic. The difference is subtle. Some people ask us to cast a particular type of spells (white or black). In truth, that doesn’t matter. We have the skills to know and do the best for you.
In conclusion, understanding that witchcraft has the ability to influence life in many forms and ways is a fundamental tool to reap a lot of benefits. Many people have taken advantage of this and thus have gained an advantage in love matters, finances, repulsion of dark forces, safeguard themselves against harm, restore stolen items, among others.
